Mastitis management – a changing landscape
With antibiotic resistance looming large as an issue, mastitis management strategies are changing, particularly at drying off. Innovative breeding plans
Many farmers are considering different breeding options, including looking for ways to reduce their bobby numbers. Greg Hamill, LIC, will discuss the breeding options you can consider for next season’s mating e.g. sexed semen, short gestation, beef breeds – what is popular, what you need to consider, and how to make the right choices for your herd.
